7-8:10 a.m.                            Rehearsal @ Highland High School-Final Runs

8:30 a.m.                               Clean & Load Semi with checked suit bags, gear, etc.

9:00 a.m.                               Team Meeting

9:15 a.m.                               Leave for St. George

12:30 p.m.                             Stop In Salt Lake-7200 S. 900 E.-Fort Union Area

6:30 p.m.                               Arrive In St. George, Check into Hotel-Quality Inn S. Bluff 1165 South Bluff, St George, UT 84770; Phone: 435-628-4481

8:00 p.m.                               Band Dance at Snow Canyon HS 1385 Lava Flow Dr. St. George, UT 84770

10:00 p.m.                             Return to hotel

11:00 p.m.                             Curfew-All students in rooms

 

Friday, Oct. 28

8:00 a.m.                               Breakfast provided by hotel

9:15 a.m.                               Leave for Team Building

10 a.m.-Noon                        Team building at local park

12:15 p.m.                             Return To hotel

12:30 p.m.                             Lunch back at hotel area

2:00 p.m.                               Report to Hansen Stadium @ Dixie College for Competition

3:00 p.m.                               Dress in uniforms, Unload equipment, set up, stretch, marching block

3:40-4:25 p.m.                     Warm-up in Area C

4:35 p.m.                               Band Report Time

4:45 p.m.                               March Show

5:00 p.m.                               Red Rocks Pictures

5:15 p.m.                               Change out of uniform & Load Semi

5:45 p.m.                               Dinner at stadium

8:00 p.m.                               Awards presentation

8:15 p.m.                               Visit restroom and load busses.  Leave for hotel

11:00 p.m.                             Curfew-all students in rooms

 

Saturday, Oct. 29

7:00 a.m.                               Breakfast

8:00 a.m.                               Report to Hansen Stadium @ Dixie College for Bands of America Competition. Unload semi, stretch, warm up block

8:40-9:25 a.m.                      Warm up in Area B

9:20 a.m.                               Pit Report

9:35 a.m.                               Band Report

9:45 a.m.                               Perform Show for BOA competition

10:00 a.m.                             Pictures-full band, seniors and any section that would like them

10:15 a.m.                             Back to busses. Change & load equipment

11:00 a.m.                             Lunch

12:00 p.m.                             Return to Stadium to watch prelims

4:30 p.m.                               Awards & Finalists announced

5:30 p.m.                               Dinner

7:15 p.m.                               Finals begin

10:30 p.m.                             Awards Presentation

11:00 p.m.                             Return to hotel

 

Sunday, Oct. 30

8:00 a.m.                               Load busses and return to Pocatello

12:30 p.m.                             Stop In Salt Lake-7200 S. 900 E.-Fort Union Area

4:00 p.m.                               Arrive in Pocatello

  • Please make sure that you have everything you need. We can’t retrieve missing items from Pocatello! Shower daily & use a good quality anti-perspirant.
  • You need food money for 3 lunches and 2 dinners. $5 will cover two other meals
  • Be on YOUR BEST BEHAVIOR! You’re representing yourself, your family, our school & our band.
  • No running, yelling or loud music at the motel. We’re not the only guests.
  • DVD packages will be available to order for both Red Rocks & BOA.
