ISU Mountain West/BBI Invitational Itinerary $3 for pizza

Sat. Oct 8
9:45 am Meet at Holt dressed in bibs, black shoes, black socks, white t-shirt, band shirt. Meet by NE corner of Holt for attendance. Fold jacket and gauntlets into hat. Tape gloves. Prepare mirrors on gauntlets, stretch.
11:00 am Report to warm-up area
11:45 am Perform show at ISU
12:00 pm Load semi quickly. Remove jacket, gauntlets and fold under hat, take on the bus with you. Ride the bus in bibs, white t-shirt
12:30 pm Load busses and depart for USU. Eat lunch on the bus (provided by boosters). Careful not to make a mess.
2:30 pm Arrival at Maverik Stadium-USU. 801-, 899 E 1000 N, Logan, UT 84341. Use restrooms.
2:45 pm Unload quickly. Stretch. Take hat and jacket with you everywhere! Check mirrors, tape gloves.
3:15 pm Move to warm-up area.
3:25 pm Warm up.
4:20 pm Band Report time.
4:30 pm Perform show at USU
5:00 pm Go to semi- change & load all equipment. Pizza delivered.
6:15 pm Go to stadium to watch remainder of competition.
8:00 pm Awards Ceremony. Visit bathroom on way to bus.
8:30 pm Team meeting at bus.
8:45 pm Leave for Pocatello
10:45 pm Arrive @ HOLT ARENA! Leadership and drumline will unload semi at Highland. You can pick up your suitbag/instrument on Monday.

Marching Rehearsal Details this week:

Tuesday morning will be in Holt Arena!

We will hold marching rehearsals on Thursday 10/6 and Friday 10/7 from 7:30-9AM in the Highland stadium. Let’s go into this weekend with confidence and pride!

Homecoming Events

The combined band will be playing in the noise parade for Homecoming on Thursday 10/6. The call time at Franklin Middle School (2271 E Terry St) is 3:00PM for a short parade that will go from Franklin to the Holt Arena for the game. After the parade, there will be food provided at a tailgate party in the Holt parking lot. Dress is pep band shirts and ram gear.


Our Rock-a-thon fundraiser will occur after the football game on 10/14. Students need to collect pledges and rock in a chair throughout the night to earn money towards their band fees. A minimum of $30 is required to participate in the event. Pledge forms are available in the band room. We are in need of parent volunteers to cover shifts at this overnight event. Please attend the booster meeting on 10/13 if you are able to volunteer, or e-mail Mr. Emerson.

Band Swag

We have some vinyl car stickers and magnets available to students and families for a $5 donation to the band program. Help advertise our awesome program and support what we do with a donation!

St. George Fees

The cost per student for our marching band trip to St. George on 10/27-30 will be $200. $50 should have been turned in at this point. Please get the remaining $150 in as quickly as possible. The cost per chaperone is $100. Thanks for getting your money in early!
